AHRI is partnered with Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) Queensland and The University of Melbourne's Faculty of Land and Environment to share resources and assist with development of extension material that has national relevance to Australian cropping.
Dr Steve Walker from DEEDI Queensland with the assistance of Research Officer, Dr Michael Widderick is working on developing this strategic alliance. Areas for cooperative development include the Harrington Seed Destructor project
Professor Richard Roush, Dean of UM's Faculty of Land and Environment and Research Officer, Charlotte Aves will work with the AHRI team to further investigate integrated weed management techniques for the southern cropping systems. Particular emphasis is on the Harrington Seed Destructor and its efficacy in a southern and wetter climate.
