This year’s forum is organised by the Centre for Crop and Disease Management (CCDM) in partnership with the Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative (AHRI) and Cesar Australia, with support from the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC).
The program includes presentations from key researchers at CCDM, AHRI, Cesar Australia, Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF) and NSW Department of Primary Industries & Regional development (NSWDPI&RD), as well as local agronomists to share the latest issues affecting the region.
Topics on the agenda include:
- Resistance status updates and emerging problems for fungicides, herbicides and insecticides.
- New insights into resistance development and control.
- Herbicide resistance status of key northern weeds and strategies to manage emerging resistant ryegrass
- How can genomics inform the management of pests and resistance
- New data visualisation tool that can display the distribution and severity of fungicide resistance across Australia
