Herbicide resistance testing

Find out which herbicides will and won’t work for you

Don’t waste money on herbicides that don’t work. Improve efficiency and profitability in your cropping system by establishing whether your weeds have resistance to one or multiple herbicides.

The UWA Resistance Testing program will test your weeds for standalone herbicides and mixtures.

We do comprehensive resistance testing for annual ryegrass (seeds and seedlings), wild radish (seeds and seedlings), brome grass (seeds and seedlings), barley grass (seeds and seedlings) and wild oats (seeds and seedlings).

We also offer testing for resistant traits (Group 1, 2, 5, 9) in crops including wheat, barley and canola.

To organise resistance testing, please complete the form below.

If you have any questions about this program, please email roberto.busi@uwa.edu.au.
