Danica works in the field of plant biochemistry, currently focusing on metabolism of pre-emergence herbicides. She has previously investigated the mechanisms of dormancy release and maintenance in annual ryegrass seeds, and the biochemical basis of resistance to the auxinic herbicide 2,4-D in wild radish.
