Dr Mike Ashworth

Biography

Mike is an agronomist researching aspects of herbicide resistance in plants and their practical on-farm management. Mike grew up on a family farm in the WA grainbelt, previously working in the private industry as an agronomist and as the research manager for the Western Australian No till Farmers Association (WANTFA). Mike enjoys developing and communicating practical tools to reduce the risk of resistance evolution and improve the sustainability and yield of Australian cropping systems.
