Biography

Qin’s research is focused on biochemical and molecular basis of herbicide resistance (e.g. understanding how plants resist herbicides). Fundamental research on herbicide resistance biochemistry is an important AHRI research activity. It provides not only better understanding of resistance and resistance evolution but also practical tools (e.g. resistance diagnostics) for resistance management.
