Dr Huanhuan Wang

Biography

Huanhuan Wang is a Research Fellow on the GRDC-invested Next Generation Tech for Weed Management project. Her role focuses on applying GIS, remote sensing and field-based validation approaches to support the development and improvement of weed detection and prediction models.

Huanhuan contributes to translating ongoing technical work, including PlanetScope-based weed anomaly mapping and QField validation activities, into practical workflows for assessing model performance. She also supports validation activities across WA, NSW, Victoria and South Australia, helping to integrate phenological, spectral and field-based information for more accurate weed detection and site-specific weed management
